Italian aperitif

The aperitif can almost be defined as an institution for Italians, especially from Veneto and Brescia. It represents a pleasant break from the hectic everyday routine, a moment to spend in the company of your family, your friends. So here are some nice ideas for a home made aperitif, perfect for these rainy and autumn days.

What you need

You will need
– Cheese – in this case we have chosen the work of Azienda Agricola Cazzola, a totally Italian cheese, naturally delactosed
– Jam – a spicy fig jam suited us just fine!
– Pitted Taggiasca olives
– Salami (I recommend, in quantity … because the Raccagni salami is really tasty!)
– Pirlo / Spritz. (Spoiler! We will not go into the merits of the definition and the eternal struggle between who “is called Pirlo” and who “is called Spritz!”)

Preparation
The preparation of this aperitif is very simple and fast. Basic, let’s say.
Start by cutting the cheese, arrange it on the cutting board, with a few teaspoons of Raccagni spicy fig jam.
Open the pitted Taggiasca olives from the meat shop and cut a few slices of salami.
Finally, prepare a Spritz and … Relax and eat!
Your tasty Italian aperitif is ready.
